Statement
The Urban Waste Water Discharge Licences set specific standards to be achieved for waste water discharges. This table provides details of sewage treatment plants for all agglomerations with a population equivalent of over 500 that hold a current Waste Water Discharge Licence from the EPA that complied with the requirements for quality of discharges and/or monitoring regime. An agglomeration is an area where the population and/or economic activities are sufficiently concentrated for urban waste water to be collected and conducted to an urban waste water treatment plant or to a final discharge point. The information is supplied by the Water Services Authority to the EPA on an annual basis. The table attributes contain the plant name, the plant id and EPA reg. code if applicable.
